We know online stories.
Through 35 online projects we have developed and refined how to tell stories on the internet – by building emotional engagement and by facilitating conversations with – and between users.

We have concluded that:

  • Online stories are social
    The Internet is a social medium. Stories told here are an experience to be shared with others.
  • Online stories are interactive
    The Internet is used actively. People search and navigate, looking for information and creating meaning. Online stories should not be a passive, lean-back experience.
  • Online stories are for everybody.
    Before Facebook came along, active participation in an online forum was rather geeky. Today everybody is a potential participant – as long as the barriers for entry are low enough. Our stories lower the barriers and make it easy for everybody to join in.
