The story is the game. 

A game, a movie or a book is no longer enough. None of them reflect the lives we live – and even so-called Story Games shift clunkily between “story” and “game”. 

The story should BE the game – and the missing piece is this: our stories must become socially connected.

We are an online generation. Most of us are always connected with each other: we constantly consume and discuss stories with others – anywhere and at any time. 

We want to create a new kind of game. A game that combines the dynamic pleasures of gameplay with the emotions of cinema and the relationships of social. A game where the user is challenged to interact, without the story stopping. A game that thinks and moves like we do – where you can dip quickly in and out, or spend the entire night inside; investigating, immersed, connected.

 

The story should BE the game. Figuring it out, going deeper, exploring the what, the how, the where and the why. Because it gives us pleasure. Because we have to know. Because sharing an experience is what stories have always been about.

It should be personal, it should have deep emotions and large themes – and it should reflect the lives we live.
